The service was amazing. The server suggested a few margaritas and they were spot on. We ordered fried pickles and they came out pipping hot with a good thick ranch. The server who brought out our food asked if we would like to cut and check the quality of our steak and this was new to my fiance and I. We are here for work and we loved this. The food was perfect. The mushrooms and onions were amazing on our New York strip. We went on a Friday at lunch time and it was busy, but not bad. I also loved that the manager came in and checked on us. Overall the best experience I've had. I'm so happy we got to experience this

Tuesday we decided to go out for Dinner and chose "Texas Roadhouse". My Lovely Wife LOVES to enjoy a Steak at least twice a week and I'm all for that. TRH is just a couple blocks (kind of) from the house and in no time at all we were there. Checked in with the Hostess and soon the 'Show-Me-The-Way-To-The-Steaks" Girl was there with a basket of those Warm-Fresh-Baked-Bread and the Soft-Honey-Cinnamon-Butter. Before we went to our booth, we paused at the Steak-Window and drooled a little - they sure do look good. Once at our booth, we started in on those Fresh Baked Breads and they are Warm, Soft and the Best Bread in Town, especially with that Honey-Cinnamon-Butter. Our Server is Morgan and we are starting off with our drinks - two Long Island Iced Teas. Texas Roadhouse makes'em really good. We already know what we want but are going to order after our drinks arrive - in the meantime we are enjoying those Breads, which each one is like a small loaf of Bread. Our Long Island Iced Teas arrived and we toasted 'US'. Now we can order. My Wife is having their "6oz Sirloin Steak", med-rare, with a Salad; Fresh Greens, Cheddar Cheese, Tomatoes, Crumbled Eggs & Croutons with Ranch Dressing and a Baked Potato with Butter. I am going with one of my Favorites, their "Road Kill"; Chopped Steak topped with Sauteed Onion & Mushrooms with Jack Cheese. Also a Salad with Ranch Dressing and "Texas Red Chili"; with Cheddar Cheese, diced Red Onion and a Cracker. When you think of 'Road-Kill', I think of those Armadillos you see around the Texas Highways - believe me, this is not those - it's actually chopped Steak and Texas Roadhouse does this right. Order is in and now it's back to the Bread and those Long Island Iced Teas. Oops, almost forgot to let you know about what Texas Roadhouse has for every table of customers that comes in - Yes, the Bag of Peanuts. They are in the Bucket on the table along with some other stuff - but you have to look into the bucket to see them. My Wife grabbed it up and we are taking these home for a snack. Soon my Texas Red Chili arrived and it looks Chililicious. It's served Spicy-Hot and is some really goooood stuff. While I was enjoying this, our Salads arrived and the 'Salad-Delivery-Girl' said to finish my Chili first - and I did, which I enjoyed with the last of the Breads. Our Server, Morgan, stopped by and said he will bring out another basket of Breads for us - and a few minutes later, there it is, another Basket of Bread Loafs with more Soft-Honey-Cinnamon-Butter. Now for the Salad. Texas Roadhouse makes the Best House Salads. We both Love the Crumbled Eggs and the Croutons are just the right amount of Light Crunch that's Perfectly Seasoned and always Fresh & Delicious. Their Ranch Dressing is Nice-N-Thick. I enjoyed mine right away but my Wife like hers with her Steak. Speaking of Steak, right when I finished my Salad here comes our Main Entrees. The Sirloin Steak is glistening and the Baked Potato is a nice size. My Road Kill is also a nice size and covered in their Onions & Mushrooms. I sliced off my first bite and I Love the Charred Crunch they give this Beautiful piece of Chopped Steak - it is really Tastyliciousness in every bite. Texas Roadhouse makes the Best Road Kill around. My Wife LOVED her Sirloin Steak, she said it's TenderJuicyliciousness (or something along those lines) - I know because she let me have some of it. While we were enjoying our Dinner, the table across from us was celebrating a Birthday, and naturally the Staff came over and sang the Texas Roadhouse Happy Birthday Song to the 9-year old. We joined in, along with everyone in the area. The boy was smiling from ear to ear, really soaking up the attention. When it was over, everyone clapped. I made him a "Dollar-Bow-Tie" and asked his Mother, or Grandmother, if it was okay to give it to him for his Birthday. She said it was so I did and wished him 'Happy Birthday'. He Loved the Dollar-Bow-Tie and once again had that smile from ear to ear. Morgan stopped by our table a number of times and we chatted. This guy is really busy, going to Angelo State University and working two jobs will keep you busy - he also earned the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award and loved it. My Wife and I always have a great time going out to eat anywhere in San Angelo, or on the road. It's always a Great Experience and you meet the nicest people, and kids (which are also people, just a little smaller). Happy Birthday Nine-Year-Old-Kid (forgot his name) - and Thank You Morgan for all you did for us at Texas Roadhouse. The Manager here also stopped by to see how everything was - which is always nice. Check out a Texas Roadhouse near you and you will also enjoy the experience. And if you have not tried it, get their 'Road Kill'. On the way back to the house, my Lovely Wife and I enjoyed another Cold Early Evening in San Angelo - no snow here yet, but it could a few days down the road. Love You Baby, Bunches & Texas

My grandparents live here in San Angelo, so I've been to this Roadhouse plenty of times. First of all, the food. I haven't had many different things here, but what I have had is pretty good. I've gotten the kids Mac and cheese and the steak, too. The Mac and cheese is really good. It's not regular box Mac and cheese like Chili's, I don't know how to describe it, but it's just really good. The steak is good, too. Nothing special, just regular ol' steak. The one bad experience I've had with the food here is when I ordered chicken tenders, it tasted like pickles. Like, it was as if there was pickle juice on it from something else. Other than that, the food is fine. The service is really good, too. The waiters are good with checking on you every so often, and they're also good with refilling your drinks really often. It's usually pretty busy during the lunch rush and at dinner, so I recommend going in between those busy periods. Since it's usually pretty busy, it's pretty loud, so expect to be speaking up and/or yelling to others while here most of the time. Anyways, that's all I have to say. Nothing super special. It's just Texas Roadhouse.

Texas Road House is known for having a great steak for a great price! Aside from that, fresh beer and excellent service. I came to this one for that reasons. I wanted a quick-good steak, fresh draft beer, and good service. The ambiance is mostly the same through most of this chains. So you can expect about the same. This one had two amazing surprises for me. One: My Waiter was a special needs waiter. He was mute. To tell you how happy I was to see that Texas RoadHouse hires and gives a chance to EVERYONE, gives me hope for humanity. Our waiter was excellent. Though he could not verbally communicate with us WE HAD NO ISSUE expressing our order and he had no issue comprehending us. I loved it! I was so happy to see that Texas Roadhouse gives ALL a chance. Just for this reason alone they (and this particular location) deserve 5-Stars. Two: Aside from that, I also had a chance to witness something wonderful. A family, adjacent to our table, was celebrating the adoption of a young boy. The restaurant's manager came over their table and brought a horse saddle and had the boy seat on it and wave a rolled up cloth napkins around and around. They presented the boy to the restaurant and people cheered. It was that boy's celebration for being adopted by a loving and wonderful family. Everyone should have the opportunity to belong to a loving family and this boy just got his chance. Amazing! I'm glad I had a chance to witness this. Regarding the rest of the visit: 1) This one location was extremely busy, as are most. We were sat waiting 15-20min. 2) Food was excellent. My steak came out perfect. 3) Service was excellent. Server was attentive and friendly. Overall, I will return to this location when in town.
